Winemaker Tyler Harlton grew up with his family’s farming business in Saskatchewan before moving East in his twenties. An interest in wine led him to sommelier training in the big city – Montreal – where the hobby became a passion. His newly learned wine skills partnered with his familiarity with farming brought him back West, landing in the Okanagan Valley 10 years ago.
Since then, Tyler has been an organic grower, a vineyard manager, and a cellar lackey, finally starting his own winery in 2011. His wines are made with minimal intervention, which means that the natural attributes of the grapes are not masked. They are a true reflection of the terroir of the vineyards and the particular vintage
Today, production at TH Wines sits around 1800 cases of wine per year, and Tyler’s philosophy – to do things “By Hand” – is reflected in the quality of the wine. The tasting room in Summerland is open from May to October, though most vintages sell out before the season ends.

Chef Alessandro Vianello and Wine Director Justin Everett, have collaborated on the menu which focuses on the first flavours of spring and highlights Tyler's delicate touch in the cellar.
